He's a Ladies Man

On Monday, Coach started his first full week of school and while most of the faculty wouldn't be returning until Tuesday, there was quite a crowd that appeared out of nowhere for him in the College Counseling Office.  I had a department chair meeting at 1pm and I had to walk by the College Counseling Office and when I did, all the counselors and assistants came running out to see Coach.

"Oh, is that him?"

"He's beautiful."

"Can you stop now? Are you free now?" There were several pleading looks.  

I looked at the clock.  It was almost 1.  "Sorry!  I can't.  But as soon as my meeting is over, I will bring him back and you can pet him.  I promise."  There were several deep sighs.

Coach is sitting with his coat on and he has his face turned to the camera with a little bit of a questioning look.  Behind him  five ladies are standing in a line waiting to pet him.

But everyone understood.  In fact, they were all so anxious and eager to pet him that they spontaneously lined up behind him! It was so cute.  I just had to take a photo.  I think he looks like he is in shock that they are really lining up for him!  He really is a very humble puppy. He takes after his namesake in that.

Of course one of his biggest fans had to have some serious puppy time and she waited until the end of the line. Coach didn't mind at all.
