School Preview

I had a meeting at school this morning, so I thought Coach and I would go in together and make it a practice run for the real thing next Wed.

He did great.  He slept at my feet most of the meeting and when he started to get restless, we went out for a busy and he performed on command (yea!).  We met some friends outside and he very graciously sat while they fondled his long ears and complimented his dark eyes and good looks.

Back upstairs he did try a little chewing on the new chairs, but it was only to attempt to remove the plastic wrapping that they were covered in.  Still, I didn't want the new chairs covered in teeth marks, so I stopped that in a hurry.  He went back to sleep.

Michele, Jeff are sitting in chairs by the Harkness table with Coach sitting on the floor in between them. 

Afterwards, we walked around campus and he met some of the faculty and staff and again sat calmly while many people petted and cooed over him.  He is really very calm and sweet.

Then Michele and I jetted off to lunch where the cold tile floors of the Cheesecake Factory beckoned him into a deep dreamless sleep.
